TL;DR Lady driving around in a 2020 Porsche gets mad at us for reminding her she's late on her payment. Asks why we keep calling and tells us we're harassing her so I remove her number when she's up for repossession the next day.

hotlavatube I picture you inspecting your nails and cleaning the dust off your monitor as the phone rings endlessly in the background with her trying desperately to call you back. The clock finally turns 5pm and you switch the phone to the "Please call back tomorrow" message.

[deleted] I also worked collections for a very long time. I had someone who threw the biggest fit about us calling, ever. She wanted us to never call her, she knows how late she is, she'll take care of it when she well feels like it. It escalated to the manager of collections, and then the director of the credit union, and finally they

sat down with the CEO and we complied with her request. Imagine now, how absolutely furious she was when her car was repossessed without so much as a phone call from us!? How dare we?!

Thomaspokego Can't really side with you here. Not in favour of the lady either, but your job is pretty much to ruin lives. So.. yeah, no thanks. Also this isn't really malicious compliance because she just complained about you ringing 3 times a day, she never asked to be sent to repo and then you complied

uniquelynamedus... Well, it is kinda harassment when you call more than once a day.... even if she didn't answer. I've had the exact same conversation with my car loan company when I was 5 days past due and they were calling me several times a day. This

may come as a surprise to you, but it's incredibly likely that your customers are well aware they have missed a payment.
